RewardIf is a digital loyalty platform for local businesses. It lets you run a stamp-card–style rewards program — entirely digital, no paper cards needed.

Businesses sign up, configure their promotions (e.g. "Buy 5 coffees, get 1 free"), and record customer visits through the admin dashboard. Customers can track their progress through a private customer portal linked to your business.

RewardIf works for cafés, salons, barbers, car washes, cleaning services, petrol stations, and many more business types.

Click Get Started on the homepage and complete the business registration form. You'll need your business name, industry type, and contact email.

Once registered:

  1. Log into the Admin Dashboard
  2. Add your services/products under Services
  3. Create your promotions under Promotions
  4. Start recording customer visits straight away

Your trial period lets you test everything before choosing a plan. No credit card is required to start.

Customers are added at the point of service — either by the staff member recording their visit, or by the customer self-registering via your portal link.

Two ways to add a customer:

  • Staff-added: When recording a visit, type the customer's name and phone number. If they're new, a profile is created automatically.
  • Self-registration: Share your unique portal URL (e.g. yourdomain.com/auth?c=yourcode) via a QR code, table card, or social media. Customers sign up themselves.
A QR code pointing to your portal is the most popular approach. Print it on receipts, countertop cards, or your front window.

Once logged in to your customer portal, customers can see:

  • Visit history — every visit recorded, including the date, service, and amount
  • Reward progress — how many visits/stamps until their next reward
  • Available rewards — any free visits or discounts they've earned and not yet redeemed
  • Account details — their name, email, and phone

The portal is mobile-optimised and works in any browser — no app download is needed.

Go to Admin → Record Visit. The process takes under 10 seconds:

  1. Search for the customer by name or phone number
  2. Select the service(s) or product(s) purchased — you can add multiple items
  3. Adjust quantities as needed — the system calculates the total automatically
  4. Any applicable promotion is shown automatically (free visit earned, discount applied, etc.)
  5. Click Record Visit

The visit is saved instantly and the customer's reward progress is updated in real time.

For multi-item purchases, use the search bar in the item picker to find services quickly and add multiple items to one transaction.

Promotions define the rules for rewards. You can create multiple promotions with different triggers:

  • Visit quantity threshold — e.g. "Buy 5, get 1 free" (counted across all visits)
  • Spend threshold — e.g. "Spend $50, get $10 off" (per single visit)
  • Quantity per visit — e.g. "Buy 2 in one visit, get 10% off"

Cumulative vs Single-visit:

  • Cumulative — counts build up over time across many visits (stamp-card style)
  • Single — only applies when the threshold is met in one transaction

When a promotion triggers, the system marks the visit as a "loyalty" or "complimentary" visit and the customer's free visit balance is updated automatically.

When recording a visit, the system will automatically flag if the customer has a free visit available. You'll see a green "Redeem free visit" option appear in the promotions panel.

Tick the checkbox to apply the redemption. The visit will be saved as complimentary with $0.00 charged, and the customer's free visit count is decremented.

Customers can also see their available free visits in their portal, so they know to mention it when they visit.

You can always manually adjust a customer's promotion progress from the Customer Detail page if a visit was recorded incorrectly.

RewardIf offers tiered monthly subscription plans based on the number of customers and features your business needs. Visit the Pricing page for current plan details.

Billing is handled securely via Stripe. Your card is charged monthly and you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your admin dashboard.

  • All plans include a free trial period
  • No setup fees
  • Invoices are available in your billing portal

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Go to Admin → Settings → Billing and follow the cancellation steps, or raise a support case below and we'll handle it for you.

After cancellation:

  • Your account remains active until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made
  • Your data and customer history are fully preserved — you can reactivate anytime and pick up exactly where you left off

On the login page, click "Forgot password?" below the sign-in button. Enter your registered email address and we'll send you a secure reset link.

The reset link expires after 1 hour. If you don't receive the email, check your spam/junk folder. If it's still not there after a few minutes, raise a support case below and include your registered email address.

This applies to both admin/business accounts and customer portal accounts.

RewardIf supports SMS campaigns to engage your loyalty members. There are two billing models:

  • BYOC (Bring Your Own Credentials) — connect your existing Twilio or Mobile Message account. You pay Twilio/MM directly at their rates.
  • RewardIf Credits — purchase SMS credits through the platform. Credits are pre-purchased and deducted per message sent.

SMS campaigns can be sent to all opted-in customers, or filtered by visit frequency or promotion tier. Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

SMS availability depends on your plan. Check Settings → Messaging to configure your provider.

Yes. The Bookings feature allows customers to request appointments through your portal. You'll receive booking requests in the Admin → Bookings section where you can confirm, reschedule, or decline them.

Bookings are linked to your services, so customers can see what's available and pick a preferred date and time. Email confirmations are sent automatically.

This feature is available on plans that include feature_bookings. Check your plan details or contact support if you'd like it enabled.

With the Gift Cards feature enabled, you can issue digital gift cards from the Admin → Gift Cards page. Each gift card has a unique code and a set dollar value.

Customers can redeem gift cards at the point of sale — simply enter the gift card code when recording a visit. The system deducts the card's remaining balance from the transaction amount.

Gift cards are great for retail promotions, birthdays, and corporate gifting.

We take data security seriously. All data is stored in encrypted databases with restricted access. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.

Each business's data is fully isolated — no other business can access your customer records. All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.

  • Customer data is never sold or shared with third parties
  • Customers can request their data be deleted at any time
  • SMS opt-out is honoured automatically (STOP command)
